At the age of 17, Kathryn began her first meditation practice. So was struck by the physical and mental benefits, she enquired deeper and this enquiry led to yoga. Kathryn has been practicing yoga for over 25 years and teaching since 1999. She is fully qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga. Her style of teaching is based on precision in the postures as a means of focusing the mind and bringing it to a place of inner peace. She also incorporates mindfulness techniques into her teaching.

Kathryn’s aim in teaching yoga is to provide an opportunity for people of all abilities to develop an awareness of body and mind while maintaining fitness, flexibility and general wellbeing – anyone can practice yoga. Kathryn teaches a broad range of people, from general mixed ability classes to climbers and the over 60s. Her popular classes and workshops run throughout Anglesey and Gwynedd in North Wales and she teaches up to 100 students per week.

Over the years, Kathryn has attended numerous seminars and events throughout the UK and Europe, contributing to her broad understanding of yoga. She has trained in Yin yoga and mindfulness meditation with internationally acclaimed teacher Sarah Powers, and taken intensive yoga training with Donna Farhi.

Kathryn is also a holistic health care practitioner and has been running her own practice since 1998.
